Finding new COVID-19 treatments with graph convolutional networks (GCN)
Drug repurposing, or finding existing drugs that can be effective in treating new diseases, is a faster alternative to developing new drugs from scratch. In this article, the author presents a method for modeling and predicting interactions between drugs and targets in the human body. Using this model, they identify potential drug candidates for the treatment of SARS-CoV-2 that have already passed clinical trials.
