Senior Software Engineer (Python, Airflow)
- Enable quick and accurate decision-making within the teams by facilitating discussions
- Set and spreading best practices for Data Engineering across the organization
- Provide solutions for complex business problems, enable insights that can empower better decision-making
- Collaborate with our Senior Director of Product on strategic projects
- Participate in the design and development of our product from requirements analysis to production;
- Constantly improve software quality (evaluate and incorporate new libraries, tools, and technologies);
- Contribute on a daily basis and help with code reviews;
- Write unit tests and improve the test coverage;
- Improve the performance and efficiency of the current system;
- Search for simple and robust solutions to complex tasks;
- Assist with maintaining the production environment;
- Work in an Agile methodology environment where innovation, teamwork, and creativity are the key to success.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Development, particulary, the ability to design, implement and deliver maintainable and high-quality code with Python
- Extensive experience with Airflow, Pandas and SQL
- Experience in working in a cloud environment (AWS, AWS S3)
- Ability to deliver scalable production-ready solutions
- Experience with data modeling and data warehousing solutions
- Demonstrate ability to design, build and maintain complex data services
- Demonstrable past experience with Agile methodologies, with a strong focus on data-driven experimentation, lean thinking, and quick iterations
- English level: Upper-Intermediate and higher
