Senior AQA Engineer

Essential functions

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive backend tests, and participate in web UI testing as needed.
• Conduct hands-on testing of data virtualization, ETL/ELT processes, databases, clustering, and other product capabilities.
• Perform thorough testing of REST and other APIs, including performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure quality releases and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Improve and develop new integration and API tests using Java.
• Continuously enhance QA processes, methodologies, and tools.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in a QA engineering role, specializing in backend and integration testing, with some experience in web UI testing.
• Proficient in SQL with strong query-writing skills and extensive experience in database testing.
• Solid background in REST API backend testing.
• Proficient in Java, with hands-on experience in developing backend test automation.
• Knowledgeable in performance testing tools and methodologies, with the ability to conduct basic performance tests.

Would be a plus

• Strong technical English skills
• Familiar with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or GitLab)
• Experience working in Agile
