Senior Automation Quality Engineer
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Proven understanding of OOPS concepts and excellent coding skills, with Selenium 3 or 4.
- Fluent in Page Object Model (POM) design pattern or other development approach like BDD(cucumber).
- Database queries (DML and DQL) and SOQL
- Worked on TestNG, Maven, Extent report, Jenkins.
- Must have worked in scrum development environment having knowledge of JIRA
- Must have worked on GIT/BITBUCKET
- Knowledge of Postman and Rest Assured is preferred.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Platform is must
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills
Essential functions
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Maintain existing scripts and automate new features and platforms using existing Gartner automation framework.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline to enable/maintain continuous integration.
- Develop reusable and modular components that can be utilized across multiple test scripts.
- Able to identify the test scenarios for automation feasibility and test data preparation to be consumed by scripts.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Able to perform code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure best practices and coding standards are followed.
- Mentor and guide junior automation engineers and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Work in a scrum team to test internal and customer-facing applications.
- Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms.
- Work with technical leaders, architects, and team to understand new product requirements.
- Check consistency across devices, browsers, and operating systems.
Qualifications
- Overall 5 to 8 + years of experience
- Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in test automation with a focus on Selenium WebDriver and Java.
- Must be a quick starter.
