Market Research Specialist
Grid Dynamics is looking for a Market Research Specialist to assist the global marketing and sales teams with gathering customer intelligence and supporting pre-sales and marketing activities.
The ideal candidate should have strong business acumen and an interest in reading, analyzing, and interpreting data from a variety of sources to get business insights.
Essential functions
- Collect data on customers, competitors and market trends and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
- Providing intelligence to sales pursuit teams, account teams and corporate functions
- Assisting sales and marketing teams with qualifying of prospects, gathering and analyzing business insights from a variety of sources, collecting the contact information, supporting marketing and sales outreach
- Research of potential clients for a given service offering
- Contributing to the prospecting strategy by analyzing industry and technology trends and matching with company capabilities
- Gathering, updating and validating contact data for marketing and business development team
- Researching other miscellaneous topics as needed
Qualifications
- Possess a good aptitude for reading, comfort with number crunching, and ability to present analysis in an objective and cogent manner
- Should possess the ability to form, articulate, and defend an opinion based on research and analysis
- As a part of this role, you would be in close touch with Sales Territory Heads, BU Heads, Operations Heads, Marketing Leaders, hence requiring good maturity levels to handle senior-level discussions
- Familiarity with the application and fitment of digital technology is a plus
- Good proficiency in working with Google Spreadsheets and Slides, or Microsoft equivalent
- Advanced level English, strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
