Sr. iOS Developer

Essential functions

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, adhering to iOS UI/UX guidelines for responsive, intuitive layouts.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, push notifications, and multi-threaded functionality to ensure high-performance mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to build and release new features and improvements.
• Utilize Fastlane, Jenkins, and other build tools for continuous integration and deployment.
• Debug and analyze networking issues using Charles/Proxyman and optimize application performance using Xcode profiling tools.
• Implement unit testing, test-driven development (TDD), and automated testing to ensure code quality.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing actively to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in iOS development using Swift and related modern iOS frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, MVC architecture, and iOS design patterns.
• Proficiency in multi-threading, memory management, networking, caching, and performance optimization for iOS applications.
• Experience with modern build and deployment strategies, including continuous integration and testing tools like Jenkins, Fastlane, and Xcode.
• Familiarity with Xcode profiling tools for performance tuning and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

Would be a plus

• Experience in developing and supporting eCommerce applications.
• Familiarity with localization and security practices for mobile applications.
• Experience with iOS emulators for testing and deployment.
